Back to the Grind

After a week off, we were back on the build this weekend.

The heat is continuing in Sydney, so we had another early start and late finish. We started at 7am and finished around 7:15pm. This weekend, we continued with the structural work. We continued to finish the internal fibreglassing of the spray rails.

We do this part of the build to stiffen up the internal structure and make sure that the boat doesn’t flex when we are powering through the waves.

Hilts we were there, so decided to put the floors in. A lot of the work is covered up, so it just looks like a panel. Next, we have to get the panels sanded flat and ready for painting.

We also managed to cut out the door for the bathroom. Very happy to see that we have a huge shower area.

Lastly, we put in the final stairs on the port side of the boat.
